My coworker sent me the following link for using psexec to upgrade a firefox installation with a newer one.

The reason this is good is because if you are an environment where you support users that don’t have administrative access, upgrading Firefox isn’t possible. IE gets updated because we have a WSUS that pushes out the patches and install them but no such thing for Firefox except the little manual tool above. Though in Windows 7, you’ll be able to let limited users upgrade/install certain software which is great for programs like Firefox and Thunderbird.
